BSG dogtag

Compartmentalisation? Hah!

Frak! Was chatting to Kate while we were both waiting for a piste to come free. She mentioned she'd found a link to Galactica One. "Oh... er... does this mean..." "Yes, I've seen the photos of you." After further questionning, looks like some kind soul on Gateworld posted a link to sakara75's photo album! One more slightly ominous thing - Kate said raised subject of bribery with beer etc as her PC is distinctly unwell.

That aside, fencing went pretty well. Arm still not quite 100% but much better. Oddly, bouts seemed to go better than I would have expected even if the arm was completely fine e.g. Graham I can usually beat but there's seldom more than a point or two in it (out of 15). I beat him by 3-4 points. Likewise, Trevor normally kicks my ass but we were never more than +/- 1-2 points. Hypothesis is that I know I can't extend my sword arm as fast as usual still i.e. can't rely on my usual fast flick or stop hit so I had to try alternatives which may have confused them - too used to my normal style and all that.

Lots of dead spools though so we were down to just two (mostly) working pistes last night. Looks like my first act as armourer will be trekking in on Saturday to carry out some 6 (very heavy) spools for repair at Leon Paul...

Vanishing post?

Now that's weird... I could have sworn I posted the blank base BSG dog tag icon here for anyone interested to snag and make their own but seems to have vanished from both my LJ and DJ. Oh well, here it is again:

Once again, if anyone would like an icon made up, just let me know name (initial + surname) and serial number (6 digits).

akadougal, I'll need your details again (assuming I didn't imagine your request...).
