Ouch!
Oh well, after a couple of days' intense research, I've ordered my new PC components from Overclockers and Scan.
Sure sign I must be getting old - my uppermost thought was "Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!". I'm sure there was a time it would have been all about the fun I was about to have with insanely fast new toys. Then again, I'm still nerdy enough to have ordered the bits from two different sources because neither vendor had precisely everything I wanted.
For anyone who's interested (unlikely but...), it's as follows:
Yep, I've bought most of a new PC...
Other news: emailed Airsoftclub about the Pulse Rifle's missing LED counter and had a quick acknowledgment from the superbly named Ms Tweety Leung (a friend says there's someone else there named Yoyo). Just hope they're as quick about sorting out the missing counter.

For anyone who's interested (unlikely but...), it's as follows:
- AthlonXP 3000+ processor
- Asus A7N8X v2 Deluxe nForce 2 motherboard
- 2 x TwinMOS 512Mb PC3200 DDR RAM modules
- IBM 180Gb hard disk (I'll need something to re-install XP Pro onto, there's too much data on the existing one and I've long fancied having a RAID setup)
- Silver Antec Plus 1080AMG tower case (suspicion my old case's PSU wouldn't have been up to new components)
