One of those days...

Have had multiple proposal documents to work on, review and/or iterate for close of play today. Rather amazingly, they are now *all* off with someone else to review or work on.

One scary piece of mail today: an invitation for retirement bash for my old school Housemaster. Holy frakking crap! He can't be retiring! It has to be a mistake! It's also on the Late May Bank Holiday Friday which makes it even less likely I'll be heading up to Liverpool for the muster there.

Also heard Lorna's Wedding's been postponed. On the one hand, I was going to be in the area (ish) anyway for the muster at Lulworth so bunking off for the day into Bristol would have been an easy journey. OTOH, at least I no longer need to worry about taking a suit and tie to a Civil War muster and the Saturday was apparently going to be a big 30th anniversary NTB piss-up so.

Building work on the house expanded. Funny, that. Nonetheless, I now have repainted eaves, window and door frames, resurfaced extension roof and replacement tiles. And there goes my bonus. Oh well. Chap now wants to quote for a rear patio...

Pub-lic service announcement: next Shakespeare Head pub meet is next Saturday, 7 April. However, I will not be there as I'll be schlepping down to Bristol to go see The Men They Couldn't Hang.
