OK, that ending. RDM and co must be doing some seriously bad crack. And Starbuck. Quelle surprise...

However, the highlight for me was Tigh's little speech to Sam, Chief and Tori:

"My name is Saul Tigh. I am an officer in the Colonial Fleet. Whatever else I am, whatever else it means, that's the man I want to be and if I die today, that's the man I'll be"

Reminds of all the reasons I love Tigh!

Still wondering how they're going to explain those 4 being Cylons, not if Tigh fought in the first Cylon War. That said, I can't help but note that all of them had been on New Caprica. Gah. When does next season start again?

I am somewhat curious to know, quite apart from Chief being a supposedly fundamentally different Cylon, whether a hybrid from a male human and female Cylon will be significantly different from one from a female human and male Cylon...

But they haven't been able to make those. They couldn't do CylonF + CylonM, nor CylonM + HumanF, but clearly HumanM + CylonF is quite easy to do (which makes me wonder why the silly Cylons didn't think of that from the start).

But I thought they'd been unable to conceive children between each other or with humans (whatever way round) because they were missing the magic ingredient, lurve...?

Oh right that was the excuse, wasn't it? How romantic *barf* Does that mean both parties have to be in love? Does Chief really love Cally, or was he just guilty about kicking the crap out of her?

So there could potentially be other hybrids ...

There's also the question of whether or not there are other models of the Final Five. I'm venturing on a "no." Maybe *they* are hybrids? The product of some ancient Cylon-Human Lurve? dum dum dummmmmm

Interesting to note though, one fundamental difference we've seen is that the Final Five don't appear to heal as well as the Previous Seven. Anders was still limping, Tigh still has no eye...
