Who do you think you are kidding, Mr Amazon?

Goddammit!
Amazon's recs get weirder and weirder. Latest email is recommending Dad's Army season 8 and Quantum Leap season 5 on the basis of my having bought BSG seasons 1 and 2, B7 series 2 and Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. WTF?!?

Clearly they think you're an obsessive Dean Stockwell fan. Not quite sure where the Dad's Army connection comes in though. Maybe they think that it's the same sort of thing as Blake's 7.

Vila: M-m-mr Blake. There's a federation attack ship on it's way.
Zen: Don't panic! Don't panic. We're under attack. Don't panic!
Blake: Right, men! Direct course to attack!
Avon: Do you think that's wise, sir?

Maybe it's based on Amazon's opinion of the quality of the Colonial forces? ;-)

If Amazon have that much personal data on me, I'm starting to wear tinfoil on my head!

It's because any Gentleman of discernment likes Dad's Army!
