Aches and pains...

Despite still being stiff and tired from Sunday's skirmishing, I decided to go fencing last night. Ouch. In addition to being even more knackered now, my chest also now resembles a collander - too many high closing velocity double hits, especially versus Steve. What comes when you fence a sabreur doing epée I guess. Elbow's getting sore too - too many flick hits, I think. Still, on the bright side, we were running pools last night and, much to my surprise, I was declared winner of the epée one!

Sad geeky BSG stuff: following a rather off-topic (for the thread) discussion on Ragnar Anchorage and then MSN conversations with ViperChickKaliyla, I've started pulling together notes about Colonial civil political structures e.g. seems that the President is directly elected but the VP is elected by the Quorum of 12. Well, we figured that, given the amount of analysis the military side gets, the civil government was worth at least a fraction of that! Obsessed? Me?
